Howard Venable
 
Howard Venable is a writer living in Queens, New York. He has studied History and Law and has worked in academia, finance and consulting, including consulting for several years for the People’s Republic of China on land reform, and for the Ford Foundation on human rights and education in South Africa during the late apartheid era. Currently Howard is finishing a collection of linked short stories that examines the lives of three outer borough New Yorkers in post 9/11 New York. Several stories of the collection are set in South Africa, where the writer lived in the late 1980s.
