Fridman Gallery @ 287 Spring (NYC)
"The only credential the city asked was the boldness to dream. For those who did, it unlocked its gates and its treasures, not caring who they were or where they came from," - Moss Hart (1904-1961)

Welcome to 287 SPRING, the newest addition to vibrant downtown Manhattan, in the heart of the Hudson Square district. Our venue is a gallery and performance space, suitable for performance art, film, concerts, poetry readings, literary salons, and public art-in-process workspace. Anything one can ever dream of, our venue can be. Our mission is to support emerging artistic talent and offer our audiences meticulously-tailored menus of exceptional cultural events.

Our story is unusual indeed. For many years, our place has functioned as a work setting for a colorful mosaic of urban professionals: a law firm, a literary agency, wine merchants, political consultants, and film distributors. Art, in an abundant variety of shapes and forms, has always been a part of our lives here. Our friends exhibited their art with us. Our friends created their art with us. We played the music and sipped the wines and every minute was a dream. As time has passed, we realized that we could share our dreams with many more of you who never passed through our door. So, welcome. Come on in. Live our dream.
