The Salon featured groundbreaking authors whose debut works focus on the fractured self, the invisible self and the other self. 

- Akwaeke Emezi, reading from debut novel FRESHWATER (Grove Atlantic/US, Feb. 2018);

- Sandra Allen, reading from first book A Kind of Mirraculas Paradise: A True Story about Schizophrenia (Scribner, Jan. 2018).

The regular reading and Q&A will be followed by a panel on self-representation and multiple realities, moderated by Vica Miller.
